Roodkapje calls itself Rotterdam’s local laboratory for art, music, and food, and honestly, that’s pretty accurate. It’s a multidisciplinary space that juggles concerts, exhibitions, artist residencies, a nightclub, and a hamburger restaurant all under one roof. The vibe is less polished gallery, more creative chaos in the best way. They’re big on young talent and breaking boundaries, so expect the unexpected. Right now they’re in a bit of a transition. Their main spot is at Delftseplein 39 near Centraal, which they’ll keep using until summer 2026. But they’re also settling into a new home at Keileweg 10A in Rotterdam West, a cozy industrial hangout surrounded by places like Brutus and de Voedseltuin. They’re still testing things out there in 2025, so check the agenda before you go. The cultural program runs from noon till late, and it happens in every corner of the building.
