Poppodium Boerderij is a music venue in Zoetermeer that keeps things intimate, even when the names on the bill are massive. The main room, CreativeColors Zaal, fits 750 people, which means you're not watching legends from a distance. You're basically eye to eye with them. Over the years, that stage has hosted Peter Frampton, Steven Wilson, Marillion, David Crosby, and a bunch of others from the prog, classic rock, metal, blues, jazz, soul, and funk worlds. If you're into any of that, you already know what this place is about. Before or after a show, there's the Podiumcafé. It's a smaller space with its own stage, good for gigs up to 100 people, and it's where album presentations happen. Also, you can just grab a drink and talk about music, which is honestly the right way to end a night. Sometimes you might even run into the band members themselves after a concert.
