objekt klein a is a club that started in 2015 when a group of people decided to turn an abandoned industrial site in Dresden into something of their own. They renovated it themselves, opened in 2017, and it's been running on collective energy ever since. Think raw brick, steel, graffiti, and a big outdoor area with trees. It's not polished, and that's the point. Inside you get two floors: the smaller bar room and the main floor, connected by a light court with seating around an old furnace. They host everything from concerts and theater to film screenings, exhibitions, readings, and discussions. Plus the usual dancing and hanging out. The music leans electronic, with a solid list of residents who play house, techno, and everything in between. What actually sets this place apart is how seriously they take the "safe space" thing.
