Jacques
Jacques is a specialty coffee spot in Utrecht that keeps it simple: good coffee, ceremonial matcha, and pastries to go. No fuss, no extra. You walk in, grab something solid, and get on with your day. The space is on Choorstraat, open Monday through Saturday from 8:30, and Sundays from 10. It's the kind of place that works whether you're picking up a flat white before work or taking your time with a matcha on the weekend. They also sell their own beans and gear, so if you find something you like, you can take it home. What makes it worth a visit is the lack of pretense. It's not trying to be a whole experience, it's just doing coffee and matcha properly. If you're in Utrecht and need a reliable caffeine fix, this is it.
