Kiel, Germany

galeriatango was a tango spot in Kiel, but it’s closed now. The space on Lutherstraße 18 hosted over 15 years of Argentine tango classes and community, run by Sara and Alexander. They’ve since handed the rooms over to a dance and ballet school, so the space lives on, just not as a tango venue. The site stays up as a memory, a little archive of what happened there. If you were part of that scene, you know. If not, it’s a quiet reminder that some places don’t end, they just change shape. No events, no schedule, just the history and a warm goodbye.
