Coffee & Bites is exactly what it sounds like, but also way more than that. It started back in 2008 as a coffee-to-go spot, and now it’s basically the unofficial living room of the Plantage-Weesperbuurt. Neighbors, students, tourists, people just passing by: everyone ends up here at some point. The vibe is cozy, informal, and warm, with real coffee, fresh rolls, and croissants in the air. You can grab a seat, read the paper, or just have a proper conversation without feeling rushed. The menu covers a lot of ground: all-day breakfast, burgers and fries, tapas, sweets, and drinks. So whether you’re there for a slow morning or a casual bite later in the day, there’s something for it. They’re also moving into evening hours soon, starting with pickup and delivery, so the after-work crowd can get in on it too.
