Café Middelberg
Café Middelberg is a classic German Konditorei with a few spots around Aachen and Würselen. Think proper pastry shop energy, not a trendy brunch spot. They do breakfast buffets, cakes, ice cream, and a lunch buffet, plus the whole wedding cake and custom torte thing. The vibe is old-school and straightforward. You come here for the stuff they've clearly been doing for a long time: solid coffee, baked goods that look like they mean business, and a menu that covers everything from morning to afternoon. There's a location on Rethelstraße in the city center, one at Jahnplatz in Burtscheid, and another in Würselen. What makes it worth a visit is honestly the range. Whether you want a slow breakfast, a midday meal, or just something sweet with coffee, they've got you covered. No reservations online, you gotta call. And heads up, they're closed on Mondays. If you're into traditional German café culture and don't need any fuss, this is your place. Just show up, order a slice of something, and…
