BASIS

UtrechtKVK 3026, W NL, Netherlands

BASIS is a techno club in a dark, smoky basement next to the old canal in downtown Utrecht. It's been around for over ten years, and the whole thing runs on community. Everyone's welcome, and that goes for both the people and the music. The setup is what makes it different: a 360-degree booth so the artists and the crowd are on the same level. That plus a high-end VOID sound system means you're not just listening to the music, you're kind of inside it. Intimate, connecting, the whole thing. It's not trying to be anything fancy. It's about dancing, sweating, and enjoying the night with people who actually care about electronic music. "Back to the BASIS" isn't just a slogan, it's the vibe. If you're into techno and you're in Utrecht, this is the spot.
