Event Organisers · Cologne
Acbty is a venue in Cologne that’s less about hype and more about the music. The name says it all: Always Coming Back To You. It’s a space built around repeat visits, the kind of place where you go for one show and end up checking the calendar for the next three. The programming leans into artists who do their own thing. Think Maya Ongaku, Tara Clerkin Trio, Ata Kak, Joanne Robertson, Kahil El’Zabar, Maria Somerville. That’s the vibe: left-field, genre-fluid, names you might not hear on the radio but definitely want to catch live. Concerts are the core of it, no distractions. What makes it worth a visit is the consistency. Acbty isn’t trying to be everything to everyone. It’s a spot for people who care about sound and atmosphere over spectacle. You come for the lineup, you stay because it feels right. If you’re in Cologne and tired of the same old circuit, this is the place to check. Just bring an open mind and maybe some earplugs, depending on how close you stand.
