History
De vereniging is opgericht in 2011 door 4 bio-informatica studenten.
Activities
Exon heeft zowel eductieve als ontspannende activiteiten. De Educatiecommissie heeft veel contact met de bio-informatica docenten waardoor de educatieve activiteiten goed aansluiten op de studie. Bij educatieve activiteiten moet je denken aan: crashcourses, gast colleges, bijlessen, museumuitjes en bedrijfsbezoeken. De Activiteitencommissie organiseerd activiteiten zoals: bowlen, karaokes, cocktail curses, pubquizen, etc. Verder is er elke 3e woensdag van de maand een borrel in café Rembrandt, gaan we elk jaar op buitenland-reis, en elk jaar op een stedentripje binnen Nederland.

Het doel van SV Exon is om studenten bio-informatica te ondersteunen in hun studietijd.
