"The global shift toward cleaner, more efficient energy systems is accelerating, driven by the growing demand for sustainable solutions. The Master’s program in Sustainable Energy Technology (SET) equips students to lead this transformation through a multidisciplinary approach that integrates cutting-edge research, technical innovation, and societal impact. This program is part of TU/e’s strategic research area of Energy, ensuring alignment with the university’s long-term vision and expertise in sustainable technologies.\n\nInterdisciplinary Collaboration: Benefit from the expertise of six departments: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Applied Physics, Architecture, Building and Planning, and Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences. This collaboration provides a broad and integrated perspective on energy challenges.\n\nReal-World Relevance: Engage with the latest developments in renewable energy, international energy markets, and sustainable technologies.\n\nSocietal Integration: Learn to design and implement energy systems that work seamlessly within buildings, grids, and communities.\n\nTailored Specializations: Choose from four key themes: Electrical Power Systems, Built Environment Applications, Energy & Society, and Sources, Fuels & Storage.\n\nView our curriculum page for more detailed information about the study program.\n\nThe EIT InnoEnergy Mastertrack in Environomical Pathways for Sustainable Energy Systems (SELECT)  also forms part of the Master Sustainable Energy Technology. This specialization focuses on minimizing the environmental impact of sustainable energy solutions. You spend the first two terms at TU/e, KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden) or Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain) and the second year at either TU/e or a partner university.
