History
The FSR was established in 1999 through a merger between the Finance association Rotterdam ‘Pecunia’ and the Accounting & Controlling association ‘Pacioli’. Throughout the years the FSR has managed to build a good reputation in Rotterdam and in the rest of The Netherlands. Over the past two decades we have grown to be the largest independent study association of the Erasmus University. During this time, many students have been able to develop themselves in one of our former boards or committees. This has brought the FSR a rich network of alumni. Thanks to FSR events, many students have been able to find their way into the financial sector.

Mission & vision
The goal of the FSR is to create a link between theory – as taught at university – and the versatile financial world in practice. Events of the FSR are, because of our professional approach, always of high quality. This ensures that our members get the opportunity to easily find their way into the corporate world. Participation in one of our events helps FSR members to make the right decision at the start of their professional career.
