History

In May 1983, the “Faculteitsvereniging Beleid en Management Gezondheidszorg (FBMG)” was founded by several students who were looking for something extra besides their academic tasks. The study kept growing and with that, FBMG got bigger and bigger as well. With the addition of some international masters, it was time for FBMG to follow this international path. Therefore, we continued as Faculty Association SHARE from the academic year 2017-2018 onwards. At this moment, the 37th Board runs the association and several hundreds of students have taken seat in one of our committees and visited our events since the founding date.

Activities

To provide our members with contacts within the labour market, we need enthusiastic members to take place in different committees to organize various activities. Together we organize study-related activities such as a visit to the General Medical Council, a Health Care Debate or a study trip abroad. Once a year we organise the Health Business Week, which is the biggest healthcare related careerweek in Europe. Besides that, we also organize non-study-related activities. For example, (interfaculty) parties, drinks and dinners. We also go on a skiing trip every year and all these activities are organized by multiple committees. When you become an active member, you will get to know your fellow students even better and develop yourself in different, professional ways.

Mission & vision

Faculty Association SHARE aims to provide all students from the Erasmus School of Health Policy and Management with activities that enrich their study path. This can be achieved in several ways. Therefore, SHARE not only provides study-related activities, but we also try to promote social life by organizing several drinks. Many friendships came into being at our association and we build bridges between all study phases in our sector.
