33rd Street Coffee is a specialty coffee bar and coworking space in Rotterdam, not one of those places that tries to be everything at once. It’s at Kleiweg 109-A, with a clean, relaxing design that actually feels like a place you could get stuff done or just sit and stare out the window. Open seven days a week, which is more than most spots can say. The coffee is single-origin, and right now they’re pouring an espresso called Vidita Rojo from Giraffe Coffee Roasters. It’s a washed Nicaraguan with almond, caramel, and dark chocolate notes. Smooth, sweet, nutty. They also do tea, cake, and pastries if coffee isn’t your thing or you need something to go with it. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t need to shout about itself. You come in, grab a coffee, maybe open your laptop, and that’s it. If you’re in the area and need a quiet hour or a decent espresso, it’s worth a stop.
