Pippin is a musical production by Musical F-Act, staged for the group's 10th anniversary in February 2019 in Bocholt. It's the Tony Award-winning story about Pippin, son of Charlemagne, who has no clue what to do with his life until a strange theater troupe rolls up and convinces him to play the lead in a story made just for him. Eight shows, a live orchestra under Jan Rypens, and direction by Vincent Renes. The production got real recognition too: two Amateur Musical Awards nominations in the musical comedy category. Fleur Renes for best female lead and Jelle Thielemans for best male supporting role. They repped the whole cast at the awards gala in Rotterdam's Nieuwe Luxor theater, performing as Charlemagne and the Leading Player with the Grand Circle Orchestra. If you missed it, that's fair.
