In Het Volkspark Festival

In Het Volkspark is a pop festival that takes over the oldest public park in the Netherlands, right in the middle of Enschede. It's a collab between the people behind Freshtival and Concert at SEA, and this summer marks the fourth edition. Think big bands and DJs spread across three areas, with the whole thing running from 1 PM to 11 PM. It's genuinely for everyone. Kids up to 14 get a special Jeugdkaart for €14.50, so families can make a day of it, but it's just as much for groups of friends and coworkers. If you want a step up, there's the Comfortdek: an elevated deck with its own bar, toilets, and snacks, plus a direct view of the main stage. You can even upgrade your regular ticket if you already have one. Food and drinks are covered by a bunch of foodtrucks with everything from pizza and burgers to cocktails, ice cream, and fruit.
