Hendsemer Eiskeller

The Hendsemer Eiskeller is a cultural meeting spot in Heidelberg, tucked into a historic vaulted cellar that actually used to be a beer source and ice cellar. The name alone kind of sells it, but the space itself does the rest. You get two vaulted rooms, around 60 square meters total, with room for about 60 people. Tables and chairs are already there, so you don't have to worry about that part. There's also a kitchen area if you want to prep food for whatever you're doing. The whole place is available for private stuff: talks, events, celebrations, the usual. It's not a bar or a club, it's more of a blank canvas with character. If you need a spot that already has some atmosphere built in, this is it. Just bring your own plans.
