History
Op 23 maart 1961 zijn we opgericht en elk jaar vieren we die dag met een Dies Natalis, een gala! Elk lustrumjaar vieren we dat extra groots, met een lustrumweek en lustrumreis naar een toffe stad!
Activities
Elk jaar houden we veel verschillende activiteiten op donderdagavond, zoals plenaire bijbelstudies, lezingen, leuke spellen, algemene ledenvergaderingen, maaltijden en avonden van zang en gebed. Ook zijn er door het jaar heen verschillende weekenden, bijvoorbeeld met je dispuut, jaargroep of kring. Maar ook zeilweekenden in Friesland of liftweekenden naar bijvoorbeeld Oostenrijk of Duitsland vinden elk jaar plaats. Al onze activiteiten organiseren we zelf, leden krijgen veel mogelijkheid om zich in te zetten in commissies daarvoor en zich op die manier te ontwikkelen. Op dinsdagavond vindt om de week bijbelkring plaats, de andere week zijn onze 4 disputen actief. De 4 disputen hebben elk een verschillend karakter en elk hun eigen activiteiten, zoals vuurspuwen, chique dineren of juist filosoferen!

Bij VGSD willen we de techniek leren te verstaan in het licht van Gods woord en dat ook uitdragen naar de wereld om ons heen. We willen ons ontwikkelen en vrienden voor het leven maken!
