History
T.F.V. “De Smeetskring” is opgericht op 23 september 1969. Zij dankt haar naam aan emeritus-hoogleraar Prof. dr. M.J.H. Smeets. Deze heeft van 1931 tot aan zijn afscheid in 1967 in Tilburg het belastingrecht gedoceerd.
Activities
Maandelijkse ledenborrels, inhousedagen, tentamentrainingen, bedrijvendag, masterclass, studiereis en informele ledenactiviteiten.
Mission & vision
Het doel van de vereniging is om de afstand tussen studenten, docenten en het bedrijfsleven te verkleinen en het behartigen van de (fiscale–) studentenbelangen. De vereniging probeert dit te bereiken door diverse activiteiten te organiseren in de vorm van excursies naar verschillende fiscale bedrijven, lezingen van hoogleraren en uiteraard de borrels.
