History

Mosaic is een jonge vereniging en bestaat sinds 2014. In het academisch jaar 2018-2019 vierde de vereniging haar eerste lustrum voor het vijfjarig bestaan.

Activities

Mosaic organiseert het hele jaar door zowel formele als informele activiteiten. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn een film met lezing, bijwonen van een uitzending van De Wereld Draait Door, diner rouler, career event (in samenwerking met studieverenigingen van andere research masters binnen de sociale wetenschappen), sportactiviteiten en lunches in de kamer voor studenten in de SCS master. Er wordt ongeveer een keer per maand een activiteit georganiseerd.

Mission & vision

Mosaic’s missie bestaat uit twee delen, namelijk: 1. het verhogen van de sociale cohesie en het sociale contact tussen enerzijds eerste- en tweedejaars studenten van de research master Social and Cultural Science en anderzijds de studenten en de alumni en universitaire staf, en 2. het ondersteunen van studenten van deze master in hun academisch leven.
