De vereniging is opgericht op 28 november 1957. Er zijn sinds dien 62 besturen geweest die deze vereniging levend hebben gehouden samen met de ruime hoeveelheid actieve leden.
Activities
Thor organiseert een wijd scala aan evenementen. Van activiteiten voor onderwijs als tentamen trainingen tot carrière oriëntatie zoals lezingen, workshops en excursies van bedrijven, maar ook activiteiten ter ontspanning zoals feesten, droppings of barbecues.
