    ## Geschiedenis
    Op 12 December 1985 is CHEOPS opgericht door een drietal kleinere bouwkunde studieverenigingen. Deze kleinere bouwkunde verenigingen zijn na het ontstaan van CHEOPS zelf ook nog blijven bestaan. Op den duur werden de kleine bouwkunde verenigingen de verenigingen die zich gingen focussen op een master track. Later werd CHEOPS de koepelvereniging van alle masterverenigingen van de faculteit Bouwkunde. Op dit moment zijn er 6 masterverenigingen. CHEOPS zet zich in voor alle bouwkunde studenten, zowel master- als bachelorstudenten.

    ## Activiteiten
    CHEOPS organiseert activiteiten in drie categorieën: Onderwijs, Studiegerelateerd en Recreatie. Onder Onderwijs vallen onder andere vakevaluaties, de jaarlijkse ouderdag en de Teacher of the Year Awards. Onder Studiegerelateerd vallen bijvoorbeeld bedrijfsbezoeken, softwaretrainingen, lunchlezingen, excursies naar binnen- en buitenland…
