Coffee Works opened its doors in Voorburg in 2014, three months after two guys figured people in a village want good coffee just as much as people in the city. The idea was simple: fill the gap between trendy urban espresso bars and the usual local lunchroom. A place where you get proper coffee and actually run into people you know. The space has its own vintage thing going on, with natural materials that make it feel warm and homey. Not trying to be anything it isn't. The baristas know their stuff, train daily, and mess around with new beans and methods to keep things interesting. It's basically a tasting room where passion and ideas get shared, minus the pretension. You can grab their coffee to go, or buy the same beans they use in the shop for home. They've got a fixed house blend with Brazilian and Ethiopian beans, plus rotating options on a second grinder. If you want, they'll grind it for you on the spot.
