Cafe Chantilly is a paint your own pottery spot in Amsterdam, not the kind of place where you just grab a coffee and leave. You walk in, pick a piece of ceramic from what they call the area's largest selection of unfinished bisque, and just paint it. That's the whole deal. They glaze and fire it for you, and it's ready in about 8 to 10 days. There's a flat studio fee of $8 per person per day, which covers all paints, materials, decoration tools, support from the staff, glazing, and firing. The price of the pottery itself is separate. Everything is non-toxic, lead-free, and dinnerware safe, so you don't have to stress about the fumes or the finish. Beyond the regular painting, they also run Art Camps, Scout Programs, Pottery Painting Parties, and Clay to Go.
