The Lemon Twigs Us Support

Netherlands

The Lemon Twigs are a band that makes other famous people lose their minds. Iggy Pop, Flea, Elton John, Cillian Murphy, Questlove, Gerard Way. The list goes on. They all have something to say, and it's basically the same thing: this band is doing something real. The music pulls from that early sixties pop-rock sensibility but twists it into something that feels completely unhinged in the best way. Glam-prog with beautiful melodies, according to Cillian Murphy. No rules in their songs, according to Elton John. High praise from people who know what they're talking about. If you're into bands that actually play instruments and write songs that go places you didn't expect, this is your vibe. They've got that energy of a band that's bursting with ideas and just letting them all out. No formula, no filler, just a whole lot of musical ambition. Worth a listen if you want to hear what happens when a band refuses to play it safe.
