THE CODE is a kink and fetish fashion store in Berlin Mitte, right across from KitKatClub. It opened in 2021 and grew straight out of the techno, kinky, and underground club scenes. The whole point is giving people a space to push boundaries and dress without judgment, whether that means full clubwear, avantgarde pieces, or something more sensual. They carry outfits for all genders from Berlin designers, both established and newer names. It's not just a shop though. The back room doubles as a gallery and exhibition space for local artists and designers, hosting events, fashion shows, and product launches. They also run monthly OPEN / SECRET events with workshops, screenings, readings, forums, and performances. Basically a meeting point for the alternative scene, not just a place to buy clothes.
