La Rotonde Stalingrad is a historic spot on the canal de l'Ourcq in the 19th, and since 2012 it's been run by the Cultplace crew. They turned it into a space for culture, parties, and good food, all inside a building with architecture you don't really see anywhere else. What's on: parties, concerts, open airs, vintage markets, talks, exhibitions. Basically something's always happening, and the place itself is a big part of why it works. There's also a 1500m2 garden terrace, open for groups of 10 or more. Email or call Sophie if you want to book it. Open Wednesday through Saturday, from 5pm till late. Thursday goes to 4am, Friday and Saturday to 5:30. Closed Sunday through Tuesday. Metro Jaurès or Stalingrad, right by the canal.
