Half Nine

London, United Kingdom

Half Nine is a proper London pub, the kind where you actually stay for a few hours instead of just passing through. It's got that classic local feel, but with enough going on that you never really get bored. Think good drinks, solid food, and a vibe that works whether you're catching up with mates or just need a break from the city. The real draw here is the music. They host live acts pretty regularly, covering everything from tribute sets to newer bands trying to find their feet. There's also comedy nights if you want a laugh without the whole "comedy club" thing. It's not a polished, sterile venue. It's got character, and that's exactly the point. If you're in Putney and want a night that doesn't feel like a chore, this is it. No pretence, just a decent pub that knows what it's doing. Worth a visit if you like your nights out with a bit of soul.
