Disrupt

Bergen, Netherlands

Disrupt calls itself a company factory, which honestly tracks. It's an operator-led venture builder based in the UAE, not a typical VC fund. The whole thing is bootstrapped, no external funding, and they've been at it for over 17 years. Their portfolio sits at $850M+, with exits like Cloudways being acquired by DigitalOcean for $350M. The vibe here is less "we invest in cool ideas" and more "we build companies with engineering logic." They don't chase trends, they read patterns. They put their own money in first, assemble the team themselves, and iterate fast. It's structured, disciplined, and very much about refusing to accept the default outcome. If you're into how companies actually get built from the ground up, or you're curious about what happens when people treat venture creation like a repeatable system, this is worth a look. They've got stories, ventures, and a pretty clear track record to back it up. No fluff, just execution.
