De Kurk is an eat and tasting house in Delft, not a place you go to for a quick bite and call it a night. It’s a spot where food and wine are the main characters, and honestly, that’s exactly the vibe. The menu is built around shared dining or à la carte, and if you’re feeling fancy, there’s a Chef’s menu with a wine pairing. They also run a Culinair Proef Festijn on the first Monday of every month: five courses with a matching wine arrangement. On Sundays, they host stuff like wine and food tastings, wine quizzes, and live music, so it’s not just a standard dinner spot. The space itself has a binnentuin (courtyard), which is where you’ll probably want to be when the weather cooperates. And if you’re more of a late-night person, the café side stays open until the early hours from Wednesday to Saturday, with what they call the "leukste kroegfeestje van Delft" starting around 23:00.
