Bim and Bap

Tongersestraat 9, Maastricht, Netherlands

Bim and Bap is that spot in Maastricht where Korean food meets Dutch hangout energy. It’s a small, no-frills place with a counter, a few tables, and a vibe that’s more “chill study sesh” than “fancy dinner.” The name’s a giveaway: bim (rice) and bap (mixed rice bowl), so yeah, expect a menu built around those. You go for the bibimbap, obviously, but also for the banchan (those little side dishes that come with it). They keep it simple: a few Korean classics, some beer, and soju if you’re feeling it. No live DJs or themed nights, just solid food and a quiet corner to eat it in. If you’re into places that don’t try too hard but still hit the spot, this is it.
